Get Involved with C2E’s Parent Volunteer Association (PVA)
Since parent involvement in a child’s education is key to both the child’s and the school’s success, Challenge to Excellence requests that each family contribute 20 volunteer hours per year. Everyone in your family can pitch in to reach those 20 hours – moms, dads, grandparents and more! Keep scrolling to find out where we need your help!
We need help with:
Staff Luncheons
Organize a (catered) staff luncheon on a staff development, fall or spring conference day:
- Friday, October 11th (Fall conferences)
- Friday, December 20th
- Monday, January 6th
- Friday, January 17th
- Friday, February 14th
- Friday, March 14th (Spring conferences)
- Friday, April 25th
Social & Community Building
Social and community building events are the heart of our school, and we need your help to make them truly special. We’re looking for enthusiastic parent volunteers to help organize some of our favorite events including:
- Muffins with Mom (usually held in May)
- Donuts with Dad (usually held in the fall)
Fundraising Events
The Mammoth March Fun Run is C2E’s biggest fundraiser of the year. This year’s Mammoth March will be held on Thursday, September 19th. Your help is needed to make this event a success! Parents can help in a variety of ways:
- Event setup
- Post event cleanup
- Shirt distribution to classrooms
- Prize sorting and distribution
