How to Get Involved at C2E!
Each C2E family is committed to volunteering 20 hours per family, per year. Many volunteer opportunities exist, not only during school hours but also in the evenings and weekends. As a charter school, parents play a special role in the success of our school. In addition to the volunteer opportunities listed below, you can also get involved by joining a committee. C2E is organized with 3 parent committees:

Governing Council
The purpose of our Governing Council is to ensure that our school achieves outstanding results at all grade levels. We strive to be the top STEAM School in all of Colorado. Our Council is composed of an elected board of five to seven parents and our Executive Director. Our job is to guide our school into the future, balancing a strong financial position and a high-quality education for our students. Members are volunteers and typically dedicate one evening each month to shaping the future for our kids. Parents are welcome to join our meetings every 3rd Tuesday at 6:00pm.

School Accountability Committee – SAC
The purpose of the SAC is to recommend priorities for school improvement, safety and security, and the overall culture of the school community through surveys to families. SAC meets once a quarter and parents are welcome to attend.

Parent Volunteer Association – PVA
As a parent and/or guardian at C2E, you are a part of our Parent Volunteer Association (PVA) with no formal sign up or dues. Our first goal as a PVA is to build community and memories for the students, faculty, and families of C2E. Our second goal is to raise funds for our school. Earn a volunteer hour and join us for the monthly meeting, held the first Friday of the month at 8:15 AM.
