Attendance

Attendance

To report an absence, we would like parents to complete this questionnaire which will provide us more detailed information on the reason your student is not attending class (whether on-site or remotely). The information you provide will help us track your child’s illness, if applicable, and will allow us to give you better guidance regardless of the reason for absence. Please complete this form each day your child is absent.  Attendance Questionnaire.

As we work to control the spread of COVID-19, we ask that you help us to keep our staff and students safe by sharing as much as you can about your student’s absence and illness, and if any member of your family has been exposed or is currently isolating due to COVID-19. If you have questions or concerns about your student’s illness, please contact your student’s primary care provider, and collaborate with your school nurse consultant.

Daily school attendance is not only mandatory, it is absolutely essential to ensure that each student masters grade-level standards.

C2E classes begin at 8:00 AM every morning. Students may be dropped off beginning at 7:40 am. Please keep in mind that students must be in their seats by 8:00 am as that is when attendance and lunch count are taken. If your children are not going to make it to their class on time, you must park in the designated parking spaces and sign your children in at the front office. If you do not sign them in, they will have an unexcused tardy.

The afternoon carline begins at 3:00 PM. If you need to pick up your children from school early, please do so before 2:40 PM. We cannot dismiss students between 2:40 PM – 3:00 PM. It is very difficult to locate them as they are at lockers, cubbies, and switching classrooms while they prepare to leave for the day.

For students checking in late to school, please call the main office at 303-841-9816 before 8:30 AM if you wish to order a hot lunch from Nutrition Services.  If you do not call the main office with this information, please be sure that your student comes to school with a sack lunch.
